At its heart, the Honor Code asks each member of the College community to be a person of integrity. Simply stated, the Honor Code is the belief that the students of Young Harris College should commit themselves to nothing less than the rigorous adherence to intellectual honesty in all facets of academic life, including the writing of papers and laboratory reports, quizzes, homework assignments, examinations, and all documents submitted to the College. ![]() The Honor Code is an essential way to reach the College’s goals of academic excellence, personal growth for each student, and a community life based on high moral standards, trust, and mutual respect.
